Halewood Academy celebrates hugely positive Ofsted grading
The Department for Education has defined the school鈥檚 results as 鈥榓 high standard鈥� under the new framework which has been designed to raise national standards.
Halewood Academy has been praised as offering 鈥榮omething for everyone,鈥� with pupils 鈥榚njoying a wide range of additional opportunities in school鈥� where 鈥榯hey know that they can be themselves鈥� and feel that they belong.鈥�
Ofsted has concluded that 鈥榩upils are proud of the school鈥檚 increasingly positive reputation鈥� and 鈥榯hey are pleased that leaders have made the school a calm and orderly place to learn.鈥�
The team of six Inspectors added that 鈥榩upils are now learning the ambitious curriculum well鈥� and that 鈥榯his prepares them effectively for their next steps in learning.鈥�
Last summer, the Class of 2025 celebrated the Halewood Academy鈥檚 best ever GCSE results, and the school secured the best outcomes in Knowsley.
